 Rapid Prototyping Via EOS Additive Manufacturing

Additive manufacturing is ideally suited for rapid prototyping. Direct from CAD 3d rapid prototyping makes it possible to quickly manufacture inexpensive, functional prototypes without the need for manual processing. With the advent of EOS DMLS  and plastics rapid prototyping, heretofore impossible to machine complex shapes such as bionic structures, complex nozzles, impossibly difficult to machine cavitations can now can be manufactured. With EOS family additive manufacturing machines, rapid prototyping leads right to production, and sale. And since different metal and plastic powder materials (see powder materials, below) are available, products made of different materials belonging to one material family (metal or plastic) can be processed on one machine. This is especially innovative for rapid prototyping.
